Privacy Policy

Last updated October 2026

This policy covers answerlyne.com and every chat, SMS, WhatsApp, and voice assistant Answerlyne operates for its clients. Not every channel below is active for every business — a given assistant only uses the channels that business has actually turned on.

Who this covers

Answerlyne is operated by an individual based in Bulgaria. You can reach the person responsible for this site and its data handling at kiril.nikolinski@answerlyne.com for any privacy question or request.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to make this work. Each only sees what it needs to do its job:

Several of these providers are based in the United States. Where personal data leaves the EU, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, as applicable to each provider.

How we protect your data

All data moves over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) between your browser or phone, our servers, and every provider listed above — nothing is ever sent in plain text. Data at rest (like stored calendar connection tokens) is held in our hosting providers' encrypted infrastructure (Vercel and Upstash), not in plain text files. Access to that infrastructure is restricted to the operator of Answerlyne; no employees, contractors, or third parties beyond the service providers listed above have access.

Google Calendar data specifically: when calendar booking is enabled for a business, we store only the OAuth refresh token needed to make live API calls to that business's Google Calendar on their behalf. We do not separately store or retain the contents of anyone's calendar. Each time a booking request comes in, we query Google's Calendar API live for open availability and use that result immediately to answer the request — we do not keep a copy of that availability data afterward. The refresh token itself is deleted the moment the business disconnects their calendar, and Google Calendar data is never shared with, or used to train, any AI model or third party beyond making the requested availability check or booking.

Google API Services & Limited Use Compliance

Answerlyne's use of information received from Google APIs, including Google Calendar data, adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

How long we keep it

Your rights

Under GDPR, you can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export your personal data, and you can object to how we use it. Email kiril.nikolinski@answerlyne.com to make a request. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can also complain to Bulgaria's data protection authority, the Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP).

Cookies

By default, this site sets no tracking cookies and does no tracking at all. When you first visit, a banner asks whether you're willing to let us use the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel — a small tracking cookie that tells us whether the people who see our ads actually go on to visit this site. It is not loaded, and no cookie is set, unless you click Accept. If you click Decline, or simply close the banner, nothing changes: no tracking cookie is set. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's cookies for this site, which will bring the banner back on your next visit.

If you switch the site language (EN/БГ), we store a small lang cookie that remembers your choice so we don't automatically redirect you to the other language. It contains no personal data.

Changes to this policy

If how we handle data changes meaningfully, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
